Symmetry Electronics announced today that it has signed an agreement to add Silicon Image’s full line of high-speed digital interfaces to its focused yet expanding portfolio of products.
Under the terms of the agreement, Symmetry Electronics is authorized to market and promote Silicon Image’s products throughout North and South America as well as through its award-winning eCommerce site, SemiconductorStore.com. Silicon Image’s product offerings include SteelVine high-bandwidth storage controllers and bridges, VastLane HDMI and DVI switches, transmitters and receivers, and PinnaClear highly integrated, single chip video processors.
