Company’s recent run of successes drives special limited-time incentive
Firetide Inc., a developer of wireless mesh networks, today announced a special, limited-time offer for resellers: a trade-up program that allows customers to submit any competitive mesh product—indoor or outdoor, single radio or multi-radio—for a rebate on the purchase of any Firetide HotPort® 6000 series mesh node. The offer allows resellers to pass the entire rebate or a percentage of the rebate on to customers, providing a cost-effective way to migrate to Firetide for the duration of this 90-day program.
The program is aimed at customers who want to deploy wireless video surveillance, but whose current mesh networks do not provide enough bandwidth. The program also offers a solution for customers who plan to expand their networks but their current mesh does not support mobility or scale easily.

Program Details
From Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2007, any competitive mesh backhaul node can be traded up for a rebate on the purchase of any Firetide HotPort 6000 series node. Firetide HotPort 6000 series nodes provide advanced hardware components, increased price/performance and flexibility to end customers and have the capability of working in three frequency bands—2.4 GHz, 4.9 GHz (U.S. public safety licensed band) and 5 GHz.
Eligible Products
Any competitive mesh backhaul node is eligible for this trade-up plan—indoor or outdoor, single radio or multi-radio. The hardware needs to be sent to Firetide and the node should be in working order to receive the rebate.
